someone we love got targeted. not abstractly — actually targeted. stalked. hacked. the kind of thing where you find out later how much was going on that you didn't see in time.
we showed up the way we knew how: loud, visible, the kind of presence that says "this will cost you." that's a skill. it's not nothing. but it's not the same as being equipped. there's a difference between having a wall and understanding how the wall works.
the best gift isn't protection. it's the tools to not need protecting.
one christmas, instead of being the wall again, we handed over a flipper zero, an omg cable, a raspberry pi, a dolphin usb, and a weekend to figure out what they all did. watching someone go from "this is happening to me and I don't understand it" to "I understand how this works and I can run my own payload now" — that's the whole point. that's what ladyhacker is.
the name isn't a costume and it isn't ironic. it's a job title you give yourself when you stop waiting for someone else to understand the threat and decide to understand it yourself.

bubblegum
original — a deliberate clash, not a borrowed palette
hacker culture spent decades coded masculine. bubblegum staples the "girly" aesthetic this audience gets condescended with onto hacker content. it's a dare. light bg so it reads loud, not edgy.

the most-adopted cozy theme in dev tooling right now. using it un-changed signals the brand is plugged into the actual culture, not cosplaying it. the welcoming, low-strain default.

the brand's spine. 1980s neon-grid futurism is cyberpunk's visual root, and the editor-theme version made it a coder in-joke. this is what "ladyhacker" looks like at full volume.

palette: Nord — open-source arctic colorscheme
the restraint option. desaturated, icy, quiet. for the part of the audience whose entire aesthetic is "no." every loud brand needs the version for people who hate loud brands.
original — phosphor-green CRT, the ur-hacker image
the cliche, on purpose. green-on-black is the most worn-out hacker visual there is — so doing it with real craft (actual canvas rain, CRT type, scanlines) is the brand out-executing the stereotype.
